Chief Minister Maryam Noz announced on Thursday that electric bus services will be introduced in four additional southern Punjab districts: Rajanpur, Lamia, Muzaffargarh and Tunsa.
Addressing the inauguration of the Electro Bus Service in Dera Ghazi Khan, he said that modern transportation facilities would be provided to every district of southern Punjab. Following the move, after the launch of 101 electro buses in Dera Ghazi Khan Division, with an extension planned for other cities.
Maryam Nawaz said the project is a gift for civilians, women, students and people with disabilities. He emphasized that the resources of Punjab will be spent on its people, and they promise that southern Punjab will not be left in development.
The Chief Minister urged the people to take ownership of new facilities, emphasizing that buses are public property and should be protected.
