According to the latest data from the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA), local mobile phone manufacturing in Pakistan and the assembly in Pakistan declined sharply in the month of 46 % of the month.

Despite the fall, local manufacturers still managed to meet 94 % of the country’s mobile phone demand during the first eight months of 2025.

According to Topline Securities, the year -on -year growth is strong 30 % from August 2024, when sales were depressed due to excessive purchases in the fiscal year 25 budget and 18 % GST.

In search of ahead, Topline Securities expect mobile phone sales to an increase of 7-8 % year-on-year, which is driven by low inflation and brands of new models. Samsung And Xumi. Companies like airlink communication and lucky cement are also expected to take advantage of the expected increase.
