How to Apply for Islamabad Online Learner's Driving Permit


Islamabad Traffic Police has launched a new online e -learner permit system, allowing citizens to apply for a learner’s driving permit without visiting the traffic office. The move is part of efforts to modernize public services and provide maximum convenience to the public.

According to officials, applicants can now complete the whole process from home Official Portal. The move is expected to eliminate unnecessary visits to the licensing offices and smooth the basic procedures.

At the same time, authorities have extended the deadline for obtaining the correct driving license by October 7, 2025. From October 8, severe implementation will begin. After this date, no one was caught in driving without a license, which will face legal action, including the arrest and inability of his vehicle.

Start by clicking “Apply for Learning” on the portal. Register with your name, CNIC, email, and password. Once registered, a new page will open where you will need to enter your personal information.

Wanted documents

Applicant must upload:

  • A recent picture
  • Cnic (front and back)
  • A certified medical certification

The Medical Certification Form is available on the website of Islamabad Police and it has to be verified by any government hospital. Applicants should get certified certification before applying, as it must be uploaded at the time of submission.

Submission of fees

After selecting the license category, click “submit the application”. The system will produce fairy slip. Fees can be paid through Ezaypesa and Jazakh.

Issuing or permitting

After paying the fee, the application will be processed, and the learning permit will be issued. The move is part of the Islamabad Police’s efforts to provide easy access to licensing services and reduce the need for personal visits.
