Lahore is getting another underground parking facility

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has given a green light to two major urban development initiatives, which aims to improve Lahore’s infrastructure and public facilities.

As part of the project, an underground parking facility will be constructed in Nasir Bagh, which estimates cost RS. 1.8 billion. The project is designed to help reduce the city’s deteriorating parking issues and to help smooth traffic flow in the enrode areas.

In addition, the Chief Minister approved the beauty and upgradation scheme for the Toulton Market, with a dedicated budget with Rs. 200 million. The project will focus on modernizing market facilities, increasing pedestrians and making the area more attractive and organized.

Both development proposals will now be put before the provincial cabinet for final approval. Officials expressed confidence that these measures would not only increase public places in Lahore but also strengthen trade activity and improve overall experience for residents and visitors. It is worth noting that earlier, six other parking facilities were also announced for various locations in Lahore.
