Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan announced on Sunday that electric buses would be introduced soon in Hazar Tehsil with the establishment of a new passport office to facilitate the local residents.
He made this announcement while addressing a public gathering organized by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
The program was attended by the district leadership of PPP, which included District President Sardar Ashir Hayat Khan, Sardar Zulqar Hayat Khan, Malik Asat Sadriel, Sardar Mohammad Ali Khan, former Vice Chairman Malik Tahir Awan, Sajjad Khan, Khumm Shahzad, and Malik Amad, and Malik Amada.
Talking to the gathering, Governor Haider said that the PPP has always been a party of the poor and has maintained deep respect for its workers. He added that his appointment as a government is not the result of political lobbying but is due to the prayers and support of the common people.
The government said, “Since I have taken office, it has ensured that people in my area have no action.” He emphasized that the gates of the Governor’s House are open to all citizens without discrimination.
The announcement of the electric buses and passport office is expected to provide significant relief to the residents of Hazero in terms of transportation and management services.
