The Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) has approved 5 475 million financing package for the M6-6 Score-Hyderabad Motorway, a long delays plan is expected to strengthen Pakistan’s transport infrastructure and complete a significant part of the Northern South Corridor.

Construction is to begin in April 2026, while the Sindh government has already started the process of acquiring land. Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has directed the officials to speed up the transfer of both public and private countries, which have previously made bone heroes through legalism.

In parallel, the M-10 motorway is being upgraded and extended to connect with M-6 in Jamshoro. It will provide a high capacity path for traffic from Karachi Port.
