HBL hosted the first hackathon under its Strategic University Alliance Program in partnership with the Institute of Business Administration (IBA). The program also marked the solidarity of the jointly developed ‘Agri -Case Study’, which focused on Pakistan’s dairy sector.
Hikathon encouraged students to bring mental storms, research and new ideas to tackle challenges in Pakistan’s agricultural sector. Participants exhibited business, finance and innovation ideas to design a sustainable technology -powered solution.
In numerous standout entries, a team of three IBA students emerged as the winner for their main idea. The winning team was awarded the HBL’s’ The League Internship and Management Trainee Program ‘Golden Pass’, in which a professional opportunity to work with HBL, along with cash prizes.
Through this cooperation between industry and academia, the bank aims to nurture a strong pipeline of future leaders and innovators to change Pakistan’s agricultural sector.
