According to the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s Transport 2030, the Punjab Transport Department has launched a dedicated helpline 1071 to help citizens in travel complaints and has improved public transport services across the province.
Through this new facility, passengers can immediately report cases such as high charging, driver mismanagement, and service -related sadness. The move aims to make Punjab’s public transport system more responsible, efficient and friendly to travelers.
According to officials, the helpline transport is part of the government’s wider project to modernize transport infrastructure under the 2030 vision, which focuses on safe and smart movement for all.
The new system will help ensure maximum accountability among transport operators, while providing citizens directly to express their concerns, officials said.
