ILMpact Programme: KP’s Bold Move for Inclusive Education
Illumination Impact Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is taking forward the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and the British Council-supported programme of large-scale education reform ILMpact Programme.
The goal is to provide good education to the children who may not be able to get due to poverty or cultural norms or gender disparity or bad roads and schools. The out-of-school children, girls, minorities, and children with disabilities will be helped by ILMpact.
It will also help over 80,000 children in underserved regions. The programme will pay significant attention to the early childhood education, inclusive teaching and gender equity. Teacher training, schemes to bring the children back to their schools after dropping, and others also fall into the category of ILMpact.
The British Council Country Director, James Hampson, said that the foundation is the future where every child thrives. He spoke about the strong cooperation between FCDO, the KP government, and the British Council.
Education is the backbone of development as said again by the Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. ILMpact Programme reflects our mission to make sure every child gets a learning and thrives no matter their backgrounds.”
This change that should be lasting because of the strengthening of basic learning inclusive education and eliminating education gaps all around the province.
