CSS Exam 2026 Schedule Announced – MPT & Written Exam Dates Inside
The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has now published the timeline of the Central Superior Services (CSS) Exam 2026, which means a two tier selection procedure is set to take place in determining the forthcoming entries of civil servants, in Pakistan.
According to the announcement, the CSS 2026 process will commence with the MCQ-Based Preliminary Test (MPT), which serves as the qualifying round for the written exam. The goal of this planned schedule is to expedite the competitive hiring process while providing candidates with enough time to get ready for each step.
CSS 2026 MPT Application Dates Announced
As per the FPSC, the public notice for the MPT will be published on August 10, 2025. Interested candidates will be able to submit their applications online from August 11 to August 25, 2025.
The MPT itself is scheduled for November 9, 2025, and is a mandatory screening test. The candidates who pass the MPT will only be allowed to sit the test in its second phase.
Written Exam Phase to Begin in February 2026
After the preliminary examination, FPSC will announce another separate notice of the written examination on December 14, 2025. The application period for this stage will be open from December 15 to December 30, 2025.
The CSS 2026 written examination will begin on 2/4/2026. According to the FPSC syllabus, candidates will be evaluated on a variety of required and elective subjects in this extensive exam.
