The federal government has appointed a new chairperson and members for a decisive authority in Islamabad for a three -year period, or until they reach the age of 62.
According to a notification issued by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), the appointments were approved by the Federal Cabinet under Case No. 694/Rule 19/2025/919 under 3 October 2025.
Waqar Ahmed, a retired BS22 officer, has been appointed chairperson and a member of the authority. Zahoor Ahmed, who is also a retired BS22 officer, and a retired PCS/BS 21 officer, Abdul Sajid Yousafani, has been described as a member.
Officials said the appointment is part of the government’s extensive efforts to strengthen the implementation of the government’s implementation and increase transparency in property and financial deses.
