Following the direction of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Punjab Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) has started a number of tourism measures in Murree.
As part of these efforts, Asim Raza, Managing Director of PTDC, inaugurated the Electric Cart “City Tour” at Kashmir Point. The purpose of this service is to offer tourists an environmentally friendly way to find a mountain station.
Other projects included a glass bridge, camping pods village, a new tourist resort, a theme park, and a para -gliding club, as well as new chair lift projects to enhance registration in the area.
Earlier, CM Maryam Nawaz announced a major rehabilitation project for Merri’s historic Mall Road, which has been in existence for more than 160 years. In consultation with experts and local administration through the Walled City Authority Lahore, a scheme of Rs 550 million will be hanged, it is expected that it will restore Murray as an important tourist destination.
The Chief Minister said, “The historical beauty of Murray will be restored within a year,” he said, adding that the town will be manufactured in a model destination for both local and international tourists.
Maryam Nawaz reiterated that the government would not compromise on the quality of work, and would emphasize her vision to transform her death into a global tourism center.
