Karachi Traffic Police has launched a campaign across the city to raise awareness about road safety and e -Chellan system without coming face -to -face face.
A spokesman for the traffic police explained that the move is aimed at the importance of complying with traffic regulations to the citizens of education and familiarizing them with a new automatic ticketing mechanism.
From October 1, 2025, the e -chelalan system will be formally implemented. The violations will be traced through high -tech surveillance cameras installed in Karachi, and digital challan, which is a photography or video proof, will be transported to the residence of direct violators. This process eliminates personal intervention and ensures a completely transparent and evidence -based implementation model.
As part of the awareness drive, flags are being distributed to large intracellular and traffic signals. Volunteers, women constables, and educational institutions are also diagnostic officers in informing the public about the importance of implementing road safety and traffic rules.
The spokesman added, “This system connects fair and accountable – on your journey, Karachi Traffic Police is your company.”
Authorities believe that the new procedure will create a safe, more disciplinary traffic environment, while also reduce the opportunities for corruption and defamation. The campaign is being described as an important step towards turning Karachi into a more organized and legal city.
