Pakistan’s intellectual property organization (IPO-Pakistan) on Friday inaugurated the Enforcement Complaints Management System (IPRECMS), which aims to fight pirate and counterfeiting by facilitating business, innovation and creative communities.

IPO-Pakistan Chairman, Ambassador (Retd) Farrukh Amil, along with Director General Noman Aslam, officially launched the system at the IPO Regional Office of Lahore.

Talking to the media, the Chairman IPO said that the online complaint management system will not only save time, energy and resources for the complainants but will not detect and detect their requests. He said the move reflects the government’s vision for digitalization and ease of business.

Director General Noman Aslam emphasized that IPO-Pakistan is committed to protecting, enrolling and implementing intellectual property rights through digitalization, ensuring that innovators and creative real economic benefits gain benefits from their power.

The IPRE-CMS will allow applicants to file complaints from anywhere, to reduce the need for physical visits in the IPO offices. The digital filing process will minimize low costs, at the time of processing, and provide applicants secure online accounts, calendars of important dates, progress tracking and timely notifications.

The Chairman IPO added that in the digital period, the system will empower micro, small and medium -sized businesses (MSME) and increase business confidence for both local and foreign investors.
