Sindh police have taken another step towards digitalization and public convenience as Karachi Traffic Police has completed a new phase of “e -chilan system” through an agreement with Pakistan Post.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Karachi Traffic Police and the Pakistan Post Office to ensure the supply of a traffic e -ticket house.
Under the agreement, e -Chellan will be transported to Karachi and Hyderabad within 24 hours, while areas outside Hyderabad will be welcomed on three working days. The supply will be during the office hours, and each transaction record will be retained by Pakistan Post for 18 months.
The allegations are Rs 26 per e-ticket for Karachi-Hyderabad local mail and Rs 41 for areas outside this zone. The Sindh government will ensure any additional financial burden on the citizens, will bear all the costs of supply.
