The Green Electric Bus Project in Faisalabad is facing serious shock a few days after its inauguration, due to allegedly administrative ineffective and unskilled drivers.
Within just three days, minor road accidents included four electric buses, which were resting in the damage to their mirrors and indicators.
The project, which was inaugurated just four days ago, was declared an important step towards environmentally friendly urban transport. However, officials now face criticism of the deployment of inexperienced drivers, which causes repeated accidents immediately after the operation begins.
Residents have expressed concern that negligence in training and monitoring could endanger the success of the city’s expected power transfer move.
