Abu Dhabi connects airport with famous locations to introduce the modern tram network

Abu Dhabi is preparing to launch a sophisticated tram system that will connect Zed International Airport with major attractions such as Ferrari World, Warner Bruce World, Yas Water World, Searled Abu Dhabi, Yas Mall, and Yas Marina Circuit. In the future, extension can also link the line with Disneyland.

The Abu Dhabi Light Rail Project, which has been shown by the Abu Dhabi Transport Company (ADT) in the Global Rail 2025, is ready to change the movement throughout the capital. The program revealed a master plan that detailed the Urban Run and the Abu Dhabi Tram Line 4, designed to serve the residential communities around Yas Island and Alra Raha.

Multi -phase development

The network will be developed in three stages, which will feature a central depot near the vast parking facilities to smooth the flow of the Alliance Airways, high -speed stations, and passengers. Subsequent stages will expand services in nearby areas, including additional parts of the Khalifa City and Yas Island. Construction is expected to begin in 2026, which is being predicted to start by 2030.

“Re -imagine urban movements”

At the Unification, ADT CEO Saeed Saleem Al -Swedi said that the company focuses on “re -concept” urban movements by connecting DATA data -powered solutions to the transport system, smart infrastructure, and sustainable, generally connected cities.

According to this vision, ADT signed a Memorandum of Understanding (sleeve) with Abu Dhabi airports to promote integrated public transport in the UAE. The ADT said, “This contribution will provide sustainable, easy contacts that will enhance passengers’ experience, support community fitness, and accelerate economic growth.”

The base of the future movements

Once in the service, the tram will play a central role in the evolutionary transport of Abu Dhabi – which provides sustainable links between the international airport, Yas Island’s leisure and retail centers and nearby residential communities.
