The shipment of small electric cars has recently seen bones at Karachi Port, which has created speculation about a possible new increase in Pakistan’s EV lineup.
CCTV footage from a local yard shows several compact electric hatchbacks standing near an MGZSEV, which says they are part of the next launch.
This model is identified as Woling Bingo EV, a sub-compact All-Electric hatchback developed by Woling Motors, a part of the SAIC-GM-Wuling Joint venture.
The SGMW group is also responsible for the MG brand, which has already entered the Pakistani market.
Banguo EV has seen a lot of success abroad. In China, this year the battery is about 66 % of the electric vehicle market share, while Indonesia has also officially eliminated it.
If launched, Bingo EV will mark another step towards enhancing the movement of electricity in the country, and will be included in the growing list of Chinese -made EVs arriving in Pakistan.
