Lahore Traffic Police, in collaboration with Punjab Safe City Authority (PSCA), has blacklisted a 2.546 vehicle for non -payment of e -Chellan and ordered immediate help.

According to officials, an action plan has been finalized to take drastic measures against the habitual traffic fine defaulters.

Lahore Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Dr Uthar Waid said that the blacklisted vehicle will be searched through safe city cameras across the city and unless all out stands are cleared.

He added that the traffic officers have been instructed to check the e -chelon records of each vehicle during duty hours. “E -Chellan is automatically released by safe city cameras without discrimination, and their payment is mandatory for all citizens,” he said.

Initially, the blacklist included 50 or more unpaid challan vehicle. Dr. Wayed said that modern technology has helped improve traffic discipline and road safety, while PSCA teams are providing full support to traffic police to traffic police, which is aimed at preventing traffic violations.
