Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has announced a comprehensive traffic plan for the Fizabad area in light of the current law and order situation. Citizens have been urged to follow alternative routes to prevent discomfort.
According to the official notification, any heavy traffic entry into Islamabad has been suspended for further notice.
Turning plans for mild traffic
Traffic will be diverted from all four directions around Faizabad to ensure smooth flow and public safety.
Turning and alternate route
Rawal Dam Square:
Traffic will face turn on Faizabad on both sides.
The communities belonging to Rawalpindi, Rawalpindi – Park Road – Captain Nim Tafil Shaheed Chowk (Traumati Chowk) – Lehter Road – Khanna – Expressway should be used.
Those who go to the airport should use Kashmir Chowk – Srinagar Highway.
Garden Flyover:
I-8 residents are advised to use Zero Point Srinagar Highway Road Road Rawal Dam Chowk Park Road as an alternative.
Khanna Bridge:
Traffic will be diverted from both sides toward Faizabad on the expressway.
Motorcycles coming from coral to Islamabad to Khanna Bridge – Lehter Road – Captain Nim Tiffil Shaheed Chowk (Tramri Chowk) – Park Road – Rawal Dam Chowk.
9th Avenue and IJP Road:
From IJP Road, Kamnar Faqir Aip Road – Srinagar can take Gohar Shaheed Chowk (wheat Godam Chowk) through the Srinagar Highway.
From the CDA Double Road, use the I-10 Service Road, then go to the 9th Avenue and Srinagar Highway.
Similarly, IJP Road vehicles can also use the 9th Avenue – Srinagar Highway to access Islamabad.
Zero Point of Expressway:
Traffic leading to the Expressway should use Srinagar Highway – Rawal Dam Chowk – Park Road – Lehter Road – Khanna Bridge – Expressway.
Faizabad by Zero Point Faizal Avenue:
Through Faisal Avenue, communities from Islamabad to Rawalpindi are advised to use the 9th Avenue instead of Zero Point – Srinagar Highway – instead.

Residents of F-8, F-9, F-10, F-11, G-10, G-11, and nearby fields, who recommend using Srinagar Highway through Golra Moore to facilitate the departure of Rawalpindi or to facilitate the surrounding areas.
