The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided to construct a new expressway in which the ARFA Cream Tower has been linked to the Pine Avenue Roynd Road, which has already been presented with PC1 of the project.

The LDA has also sought a joint certification (NOC) from the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA).

According to LDA Chief Engineer Israr Saeed, the cost of the project is more than Rs. 9 billion. He said that the expressway will be environmentally friendly development and will provide a new alternative route to the city’s traffic.

It is expected that thousands of vehicles are expected to direct thousands of vehicles directly from the Arfa Karim tower to southern Lahore and reduce the pressure on Kalma Square. In the first phase, the construction will extend from Arfa Karim Tower to Maulana Shakt Ali Road.

Officials said the topographic survey from the ARFA Cream Tower to Pine Avenue has already been completed. The Expressway will be presented with the Three Lane Double Carridge Way and is being described as a historic project.

The approval and development department is expected to be finalized in the coming days.
