Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has launched the second phase of the Green Tractor Scheme, in which the distribution of 9,500 tractors has been announced to farmers across the province.

The tractors were allotted through a draw, Nawaz personally called to congratulate several successful applicants. According to the Agriculture Department, the program will eventually provide 20,000 tractors to the farmers.
