The date for the launch of the first Electric Air Taxi Service in the United Arab Emirates has been announced

The journey between Dubai and Ras al -Khaima is ready for a dramatic change, as Joey Aviation is preparing to introduce electric flying taxis by the first half of 2027. This service will reduce travel, which usually takes more than an hour by road, less than 15 minutes.

In an early stage, flights will run from the Dubai International Airport to the El Margin Island, the house of one -year -old dollar resorts. The second step will connect the Al -Marjan Island to the high peak of the United Arab Emirates. The launch resort is in line with the opening, which has a milestone in the country’s transport and tourism sectors.

The Jobi’s All -Electric aircraft, which is capable of reaching speeds up to 321 km per hour, can carry a pilot and four passengers with zero operating emissions.

The Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (Rickta), Jabi Aviation, and Sky Ports Infrastructure formally signed an agreement to start the service in 2027. Under this partnership, the first domestic flying taxi network in Jobi Emirates will also run.

Rakta Director General, Esseel Hassan Alboshi, said the move is associated with Ras al -Khaima’s comprehensive movement project 2030, which aims to integrate modern, friendly transport solutions. “This project will provide faster, efficient and sustainable movements for residents and visitors, while strengthening the status of Race al -Shamah as a smart city and a global tourism center,” he said.

The journey of on -demand

Anthony Khori, the General Manager of the United Arab Emirates of Jabi Aviation, told the Gulf Times that the route to all coral islands will begin in early 2027, followed by al -margin at the end of the same year.

He noted that the service would work on demand instead of a fixed schedule: “If the demand for al -margin increases, we will increase flights according to the opening of the van resort in 2027, the demand between Dubai and the RA will be important.”

Initially, most passengers are expected to be tourists, which focuses on the hospitality and adventure tourism of the race. “In the first two years, the demand will be mainly run by tourism,” Khouri explained. Over time, when we increase the vertebrae ports in the middle of the RA airport and the city, it will also be appealing for the residents. “

Cheap and access

The rental structure is still under consideration, though Khori has suggested that pricing will be “compared to the Dubai rates” and that it will be calculated on a mile basis. Although early visits may be expensive, prices are expected to decrease as technology growth and operations extend.

Jabi’s founder and CEO, Joeban Bever, SARS: “We look forward to starting this route with our partner Rakta and Sky Ports, and in the United Arab Emirates we have highlighted the strong grounds already established.”

Sky Ports CEO Duncan Walker highlighted the pace of the project: “After signing the sleeve with Rickta in 2024, for the preparation of the verse port network, we are now excited to go to the development phase as our service partner with the pair.”
