The Punjab Board of Revenue has requested Rs 500. Funds for the purchase of 29 new vehicles to facilitate the newly appointed officers.
According to official documents, the purpose of the vehicles is for officers from Grade 17 to Grade 21. In this petition, 24 new posts have been constituted under the recent institutional reforms within the department.
The proposed purchase list includes 19 Toyota Yars cars, six Suzuki Klots, two Toyota Fortune SUVs, and three review double cabin vehicles.
Officials across the province need a new vehicle to ensure smooth operation and field mobility, officials said.
