The United Arab Emirates has acquired a place in four countries globally to protect road traffic, which is measured by 100,000 people. It is an important achievement that identifies the country’s traffic strategies and the success of the efforts to protect lives.
The milestone was reviewed during a meeting of the Interior Ministry, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at the headquarters of the ministry in Abu Dhabi.
Increase security and welfare
Council members discussed several steps and projects to achieve government performance, power preparation, and progress on important national indicators. Future projects include increasing road safety, raising public awareness, and advancing the welfare of the community as a whole.
Officials emphasized that these efforts are in line with the ministry’s mission to ensure a safe, secure and positive environment for all residents and citizens, which reflects the vision of the UAE leadership to improve the quality of life in society.

The meeting was attended by several senior security leaders, including Lieutenant General Dhhi Khalifan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and public protection in Dubai.
