The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has formally canceled the Layout Plan (LOP) of the Islamabad Garden Housing Scheme (LOP) and any objection certification (NOC) in Islamabad Garden Housing Scheme, Sector E11, Islamabad.
The decision was delivered through a formal letter issued by the CDA’s Directorate of Housing Societies, Planning Wing, which addressed the President of the multi -professionals Cooperative Housing Society.
The authority has said that the cancellation was after several warnings and communication issued between 2011 and 2025.
According to CDA Records, Islamabad Gardens The scheme was originally approved on June 10, 2005 in an area of 811 canals, which is subject to specific conditions.
The distribution of approved land includes residential, commercial, institutionalist, and open space. The Society was allowed to develop under strict compliance with planning and development regulations, but the CDA noted that the developers repeatedly violated these conditions.
The authority cited numerous violations, including changes in unauthorized ground use, encroachment, failure to develop necessary infrastructure, and disobedience with planning standards.
Despite repeated reminders and notices over the years, the society failed to remove the irregularities or submit reports of progress in the planning wing. The CDA has also observed that some parts of the scheme are being marketing and selling, without any proper verification or approval, misleading the public.
In his cancellation order, the CDA emphasized that the layout plan and the NOC have now withdrawn, and under the name, any development or sale of plots. Islamabad Gardens Will be considered illegal and unauthorized.
The authority warned citizens to refrain from transactions with the housing society and advised residents and potential buyers to confirm all projects directly through the CDA’s official website or the Directorate of Housing Societies.
The letter further states that after the decision -making reviews and several field inspection, which confirmed the non -construction development and violations of the approved setting project.
The CDA made it clear that despite numerous occasions of compliance, the Society failed to meet the regulatory bonds, which left the authority to dismiss its approval.
The CDA added that the cancellation is part of a broader move to ensure a planned and regular urban development in Islamabad, which has taken strict implementation against the unauthorized residential schemes and developers involved in misleading the public or destroying the city’s master plan.
