The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued a show to the Civilian Employees Cooperative Housing Society (CECHS) for the desired setting plan (ROP) or no objection certification (NOC) in zone 5, allegedly using a show in zone 5 or allegedly illegally.
The CDA instructed the CESC to immediately stop the transfer of all works, marketing, sales, allotment and plot.
The authority also ordered the demolition and elimination of illegal structures within a few days, declaring existing actions illegal under the existing rules and regulations.
The Society is accused of developing, marketing, sales and allotment in SOAN Garden, with the CDA Ordinance 1960 in violation of the zoning rules and Islamabad.
Regarding the notice, in April 2025, the Islamabad High Court ordered that no plot allotment could be more than an approved run.
He emphasized that changes in street or plot numbers are not allowed after the allotment, and that such changes cannot be included in societies.
CECHS has been given seven days to present its defense for personal hearing. The CDA has warned that non -compliance will lead to strict legal action: demolition, sealing offices of society, stopping access, and referring to NAB or FIA.
The CDA also reserved the right to recover the costs of implementation from the responsible parties.
The show cause notice was issued under the CDA member planning and design instructions, and the CDA’s public notice appears in the registry.
