Pakistan Posts Current Account deficit in August or 5 245 million


SBP data says that Pakistan recorded a current account deficit (CAD) of 5 245 million in August 2025 in August 2025, which is much higher than the $ 82 million difference in August 2024, but less than July 379 million in July.

Overall, the first two months of fiscal year 26, compared to $ 430 million in the same period last year, increased to $ 624 million.
