Pakistan’s IT exports have formally entered the Kuwait market for the first time, and has marketing an important step in the country’s efforts to diversify its tech exports in the Gulf region.
A delegation of 17 leading Pakistani IT companies led by the Pakistan Software Export Board (PBEE) participated in the Kuwait Pakistan Kuwait Tech Conference 2025 in Kuwait.
The program was jointly organized by the Pakistani Embassy and the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) in Kuwait.
In GCC countries, Kuwait has long been a market market for Pakistani IT firms due to severe visa restrictions.
However, after the recent softening of visa policies for Pakistani professionals, firms are now looking to tap Kuwait’s $ 22.48 billion in the ICT market, which is likely to rise to $ 39.83 billion by 2025.
PSEB CEO Abu Bakr said that the conference has worked as a platform to show Pakistan’s innovation and technical power, calling it a “launch of long -term cooperation” between Pakistan and Kuwait in technology, trade and investment.
Visit companies, including 10 pears, TPS, around the world, show solutions in Digi Consulting, System Limited, and Digi Float, AI, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Fantake, Health Tech, Etticic, and Enterprise Software.
The delegation’s visit was historic, which was first after a visa facility for Pakistani professionals, said Mohammad Zubaib Khan, CEO of A2Z Creator.
“Under Vision 2035, Kuwait’s digital changes offered great opportunities to Pakistani firms to contribute to its economic diversity,” he said.
Senior Vice Chairman of Pasha Mohammad Amir Nizam Nizam noted that Pakistani IT exporters are spreading in Kuwait as they have in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
He added, “The time has come for unused markets to be explored when the country’s global image in technology and defense remains strong.”
The program also witnessed the participation of prominent Kuwaiti officials, including Asil Al -Monifi (Under Secretary, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Investment Ministry), Dr. Khalid Mohammad Al -Momel (Chairman, Setra), Najat Hussain Ibrahim Hamad (Acting GM, Kate), and Ethiopia Al -Jahbah al -Jahbah al -Jahbah al -Jahbah.
Currently, Kuwait’s exports to Pakistan are exceeding $ 2 billion annually, mainly through petroleum products, while Pakistan’s exports to Kuwait are around $ 200 million, a space expert says, adding that IT and bilateral trade can be tight with digital services.
The Pakistan Kuwait Tech Conference 2025 is seen as a milestone for Pakistan’s IT industry, opening a new and intelligent market in the Gulf.
