Aviation sources confirmed on Wednesday that private carrier Air Blu had been approved by the UK Department of Transport (DFT) to operate flights between Pakistan and the UK.
The approval, called the third Country Operator (TCO) license, allows the airline to launch direct services to British locations. With this document, Airblow becomes the only private Pakistani carrier that currently allows both countries to connect directly.
According to aviation officials, the airline will demolish Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft on this route. It is expected that flights will be returning to Turkey before flights to the UK will be released before continuing.
It is expected that the entry of Airblow into the UK market will provide more travel powers for passengers, including more than 1.6 million people from the UK.
