According to data released by the Topline Securities regarding the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Pakistan’s total liquid exchange reserves were slightly $ 19.81 billion for the weekend of the week ended October 3, 2025.
The SBP’s reserve heroes increased by $ 20 million, which reached $ 14.42 billion, compared to $ 14.40 billion a week ago.
However, commercial banks’ reserves decreased by 6 million, which is $ 5.39 billion.
Despite the payment of 500 million eurobonds in late September, Pakistan managed to maintain its reserve position, which reflected the stability of the external account.
