In Pakistan, shell licenses, Wafi Energy, inaugurated the second retail station in the country using recycled plastics, which identified another milestone in a commitment to launch a sustainable solution in the country’s energy and retail sector.
The new retail site located in the police lines, Rawalpindi, has been built using 7,700kg of plastic wash, which is equivalent to more than 5.8 million pieces of the last plastic of life, which is included in construction equipment.
The opening ceremony was attended by the delegates of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and the Embassy of Saudi Arabia, which supported them through their presence in the event.
The first retail station was launched in Karachi, in collaboration with the Wafi Timer Alumni Startup, the Wafi Timer Alumni Startup, using the WA -6,500kg or plastic waste for sustainable pures and concrete blocks.
A similar environmentally friendly move by Wafi includes 730 feet of plastic road outside its Karachi Head Office, made with 2.5 lyrics of waste lubricating bottles and has proved to be flexible against heat and rain by taking advantage of the community.
Addressing the inauguration, Mr. Zubir Sheikh, CEO of Wafi Energy, said: “In Wafi Energy, stability is not just a commitment – it is a responsibility. It is a responsibility. More than that we have a second retail site with recycled plastic, a clean future for Pakistan.
From the launch of the Rawalpindi retail site, sustainable retail innovation and the mission of developing a solution have been identified as the leadership of Wafi Energy, which is auxiliary in Pakistan’s climate and cleaning in the future.
