Juggan Kazim Apologizes to Alizeh Shah Over Viral Ramp Fall

Juggan Kazim recently took a rare and sincere step by publicly apologizing to actress Alizeh Shah for causing her emotional hurt over a past incident. Kazim addressed Shah in a heartfelt Instagram video, expressing regret for the way she and others had reacted to a viral moment in 2021, when Shah tripped and fell on the ramp during Bridal Couture Week while walking alongside singer Shazia Manzoor.

At the time, the incident quickly became a source of internet laughter, memes, and mimicry — including by Kazim herself and TikTok star Jannat Mirza, who recreated the fall along with Manzoor. However, Shah has since revealed that the fall was not accidental but the result of being physically pulled and dragged on stage by Manzoor.

Beyond the physical pain, Shah endured emotional distress fueled by trolling, impersonations, and a lack of support from the media and industry insiders, including hurt from Kazim’s mimicry. Shah publicly called out Kazim and Mirza for their actions, sharing her feelings of humiliation and loss of respect toward Kazim.

In response to Shah’s revelations, Kazim acknowledged that she had not realized the depth of Shah’s pain or the trolling she faced. She apologized unreservedly, emphasizing that it is more important to recognize how Shah felt rather than any dismissals of the incident as trivial. Kazim also pushed back against those urging her to defend herself aggressively, saying as a senior figure in the industry, she preferred to apologize if she unintentionally caused harm.

Her message underscored a call for more empathy and responsibility in media, questioning why humans are often reduced to viral content, thereby stripping dignity from those involved. She also referred emotionally to recent tragedies involving veteran actors to highlight a need for respect and compassion.

Shah has since responded appreciatively to Kazim’s apology, stating she was not expecting it and thanking her for the gesture.

Throughout her candid disclosures, Alizeh Shah has opened up about ongoing mistreatment, including harassment, bullying, underpayment, and public shaming that have affected her mental and physical well-being. She emphasized her resolve to no longer stay silent or allow exploitation of her vulnerability, demanding dignity and respect as a fundamental right in her profession
