PMDC has also increased a minimum mark requirement to pass admission in MBBS and BDS programmes, the minimum mark is now 65 per cent against 60 per cent before. The official announcement by the PMDC Registrar, Dr. Shaista stated that the new passengers would be applicable to the students pursuing the admission in the next academic session of 2025 2026. Under the new policy, merely the candidates who reach 65 percent and above marks in the FSc or equivalent examinations will be allowed to appear in the MDCAT. Also, candidates would be required to write MDCAT in the province or province of domicile. Until the candidate resides abroad, the available international test center will be in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
