Punjab Education Authority Action Against Private Schools
The Punjab Education Authority action against private schools has intensified as several renowned institutions face official notices for reopening in violation of government directives. The authority has issued show-cause notices to the administrations, directing them to appear for personal hearings and explain their defiance.
According to a private news channel, the schools under scrutiny include Lyceum School GT Road, Honors Kindergarten School GT Road, and Beaconhouse School’s Boys and Girls Campus in Township. Beaconhouse branches in Gulberg and Johar Town have also been named.

Other institutions facing action are Allied School near the Railway Headquarters, MUKAF Learning Campus near Metro Station, The Punjab School Canal Garden, Dimension School, and The Educators Sehar Campus. Officials stated that these campuses resumed academic activities despite explicit government orders to remain closed due to prevailing circumstances.
The Punjab Education Authority action against private schools is being taken to ensure strict compliance with official instructions and to maintain a uniform approach towards public safety. Authorities have warned that further violations could lead to more severe penalties, emphasizing that all educational institutions must follow the government’s closure policy without exception.
