Punjab Education Department has come up with the statement in connection to the summer camps being held in schools making life clear to the parents and students.
Summer camps are voluntary as stated by the announcement and no school is allowed to force parents to send their kids or pay any costs associated with it.
The department instilled that even though summer camps are being arranged, they are not compulsory. Parents can always choose whether to take their children to it or not.
In case the parents volunteer out, no school can compel them to pay camp fees or force their children to attend to them during the summer time.
Besides, the department has determined the time frame within which these camps will take place, and they will start on June 16, 2025, and end on July 15, 2025. It has also directed schools to set these dates and made sure that parents are not imposed with extra fees and requirements, beyond the period of the summer camp.
